Louee is a great weekend where all Penrith Minibike Club members come together, and camp for the weekend, (one or two nights) or just come for a day visit. All age groups are welcome!
It’s a great opportunity to meet like minded Club members, the kids get to ride motocross during the day, pushbikes between rides, soccer, tag, hide ‘n’ seek or whatever they decide, even cook marshmallows on the fire. It is a nice atmosphere to see everyone unwind from every day hustle and form life long friendships.
Dad’s go riding with mates or ride with their kids, taking on the challenge of the enduro tracks at Louee, getting a group together and going for a late afternoon or early morning ride.
Whilst the days are generally warm, the nights are cold. Bring plenty of warm clothes, jackets, beanies, and warm sleeping gear and definitely a change of riding gear. If it rains, there is mud, did I say MUD, lots of MUD! But the kids love it.
At the camping grounds they have large fire pits, bring wood.
There is no timers set for the weekend, you can ride once the park is open to the public, and bikes off when it it closed. Some members go into Mudgee or nearby towns for a visit during the day, however be mindful the gates are locked strictly at 5pm. No one can go in or out after this time.
There will be canteen facilities available during the day with lots of yummy snacks and cold drinks on the day.
