A points day is any day mentioned on our club calendar where all members and new members are welcome to attend. All points days are calculated and totals go towards trophies/prizes being awarded for individual class winners and other sections on our Club trophy and presentation days. Gates open at 8am, sign on opens at 8:30am at the office and scrutineering shuts at 9.15am.

What is Interclub ?

Interclub is an events day held at a competitor club, and is open to all members who hold a licence under Motorcycling NSW (MNSW) and the invited clubs. All members compete as individuals and as representatives of Penrith PCYC Minibike Club, there are ribbons and trophies being awarded for individual class winners and overall winning club on the day.

Am I licensed to compete at an Interclub?

In order to compete at an Interclub, you need to hold a minikhana licence as issued by Motorcycling NSW, which commences via the kick start program.

What are Supplementary Regulations (Supp Regs)?

Before each Interclub, a set of supplementary regulations are published by the host club, on the Motorcycling NSW web site. The “Supp Regs” contain all the rules and regulations and relevant information for the Event, and also entry form details and costs for riders.

How do I get my licence?

The Kick Start program – in order to obtain a minikhana licence through Motorcycling NSW licence, members must complete a Kick start course, which is a theory based introduction to motorcycle sport. The courses are run at frequent intervals at the Club, and involve a simple assessment on completion. Once completed, members send their completed kick start book to Motorcycling NSW with an accompanying licence application form. Once processed, MNSW will issue the member with an appropriate minikhana licence, which needs to be renewed every year.

Upgrading your childs bike ?

Before you upgrade your childs bike, please be mindful of the MOMS (see below) requirements as to engine capacity and rider age. If your bike also changes capacity you will need to get endorsed on your MNSW license to ride this bike.

MOMS

MOMS is the our bible to minihkana and is the Manual of Motorcycling Sport (MOMS) as published annually by Motorcycling Australia. The manual is available online at www.ma.org.au
